註一 : 大衛與下屬烏利亞將軍的妻子拔示芭( Bathsheba )同室、拔示芭懷孕後為怕東窗事發，設計讓烏利亞戰死前線，先知拿單來見他（撒母耳記下十一、十二章）。因此，大衛作詩篇五十一篇，表示他向上帝悔改的心，大衛王終生在懊悔中度過。

註三 : 著名參孫與大利拉( Delilah )的故事。非利士人利誘大利拉找出參孫神力的秘密，參孫最終說出了力氣泉源在頭髮的秘密。參孫為了女色，背棄了神，大利拉剪掉參孫的頭髮，非利士人挖出參孫雙眼讓他推磨。參孫最後向神懺悔，恢復了神力，推倒了神殿樑柱，與眾多非利士人同歸於盡。

　歌詞中提到的幾個和弦，應該是：F - G - Am - F。　加拿大詩人歌手 Leonard Cohen 李歐納柯恩和美國的民謠搖滾詩人 Bob Dylan 巴布狄倫有不少共同點：他們的歌詞都極具文學性，而且都寫出不少經典歌曲；其次是他們的嗓音都稱不上美聲，因此兩人有很多經典作品，都是被人翻唱後才大受歡迎。” Hallelujah 哈利路亞 “就是一首被很多人翻唱過的作品，而這首歌在定稿之前，李歐納柯恩和巴布狄倫兩人還曾就歌詞交換意見。
　” Hallelujah 哈利路亞 “原本收錄在李歐納柯恩 1985 年的專輯「Various Positions」，歌詞中提到不少聖經裡的典故，尤其是多位壞女人的原型，李歐納柯 恩表示，” 哈利路亞 “原是希伯萊語，意思是「榮耀上帝」，對他而言，人類行為中不論是正面或是負面的，都可以解釋為榮耀上帝，進而堅定他的信仰。
